Our Parent's Groups
This is your opportunity to take part in fun activities like arts and crafts, relaxation and interesting discussions as well as being part of the Nursery's decision making process. These meetings which are held in the People's Place and are led by the key workers. Liz, the Nursery Head, attends regularly to introduce proposed developments to service, hear your feedback and just to have a chat. Yours key worker will give you details of days and times from meetings or look out for information on the Parents Notice Board in the cloakroom.
Parent's Development Plans
Your child is at nursery to grow and develop in a fun environment but did you realise you can do the same? At the Jeely every parent has the opportunity to have their very own Development Plan which is put together by you and your key worker. Your worker will help you decide what skills you want to develop and the activities that are available.
Don't worry, we know it can sound scary but it could be something as simple as building your confidence by attending a Parent's Group or learning to make play dough for your child. You will get more information from your key worker or Liz.
Parenting Classes
These 8 week courses are a fun but helpful way for parents to look together at some of the challenges of the job and give each other support. Classes are led by Jeely staff or other suitably qualified people.
